 The 4th annual rally for DARFUR  January 25, 2009 was a resounding success.  Keynote speaker Reverend Dr. Gloria White Hammond addressed the crowd urging all of us to stay the course and keep pushing for an end to the world's worst humanitarian crisis in Darfur, Sudan.

GA State Senator David Adelman asked all GA citizens to support his two bills SB170 & SB171 in this year's GA legislative session to end our state's indirect support of the most problematic foreign companies who are essentially funding the genocide.  For more information on these two bills and what you can do, click HERE NOW.

Morehouse College student Lionel Harrington and Emory University student Michael Mann lead the call to action.

The keynote speaker for this event was Reverend Gloria White-Hammond, M.D. who is the current chair of theSave Darfur Coalition board.  She has been in the forefront of theactivist movement to end the first 21st century genocide in Darfur and has beentraveling to war torn Sudan since 2001.
Reverend Hammond will be joined by Atlanta Holocaust survivor Ben Hirsch and Darfur refugee Bushara Dosa
